About the training materials
This module is NOT a guide to starting a business. It is designed for those who are thinking of becoming self-employed and need to understand the impact of this BEFORE planning a new venture.
Supplied as a PC app (program), this e-Learning module can be distributed or installed on any PC or laptop. This allows learners to work through at their own pace and allows them to decide if self-employment is right for them and is therefore best deployed before any specific training for start-ups.
The module is professionally narrated and includes several inter-active elements, suggestions for business ideas and a review of the skills and qualities required.
The module is arranged into FIVE sections. These are designed to be worked through in order, but learners can return to review any sections vis a menu.
The eight sections are:
- Introduction including quotations and course objectives
- A look at self-employment in the UK
- The pros and cons of self-employment
- Business ideas
- Getting
NOTE: The program cannot be modified but it is supplied without any form of branding.
