About the training materials
For anyone involved in dealing with people who may be facing difficulties in their own lives, it’s likely that some of them will be difficult to handle and sometimes unpleasant and even aggressive.
Dealing with this almost every day of a person’s working life can result in stress, tension, and anxiety that negatively affect their own mood. When that happens, everyone loses.
This course aims to provide an insight into why people become difficult to deal with and suggests some techniques to resolve those tricky conversations.
The forty slides are arranged into five sections which can be adapted to suit different audiences and the situations they might find themselves in. The content is suitable for both currently employed and unemployed learners.
The five sections are:
- First encounters with difficult people
- Understanding conflict
- Types of difficult people
- Real life situations
- Role play
All the slides have subtle animations and transitions and it's easy to change the colours or customise them with your own branding or course information.
